The Dutch dive island has seventeen official snorkel locations that can be reached directly from the coast without first having to go with a boat. Our favorite snorkel spot is 1000 Steps in the north. This beautiful snorkel and dive spot can be reached by a stone staircase. There's a good chance that you will see sea turtles at this spot and you will of course see the most beautiful fish and beautiful coral.

The Bonaire National Marine Park is unique in the Caribbean region. Beware of sunburn on your back
Snorkel enthusiasts must ensure that they do not burn their backs. The water provides a cooling, but in the meantime the sun shines on your back. Sunscreen is naturally washed away by the ocean water. There is also a waterproof sunscreen available on the market. Actually you can best wear a T-shirt when you go snorkeling.
Snorkeling equipment
Snorkeling items can be bought or rented anywhere in Kralendijk. A well-fitting diving mask is recommended. When your dive mask is filled with water, the fun of snorkeling is gone. People who wear glasses can have special glasses sharpened for the goggles. Anyone who enters the water a bit afraid, can if necessary rent a life jacket to enjoy the wonderful underwater world of the coral island.

From personal experience we can heartily recommend this hotel. This hotel has a great all inclusive. Delicious cocktails at the bar, a barbecue on the beach or another themed dinner, we really enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and the staff is super friendly.
